View from the 14th floor

One hour to go to the start of the conference and I am sitting in my 14th floor, rather swish, hotel room getting a little bit of quiet time.

Thought I'd post the image from up here, taken from the webcam of my netbook. The real view is a lot nicer than the image, despite being a grey morning.

I'm feeling OK, a little bit nervous as I did a lot to my website last week and I am going to give people business cards today to promote it. This was the idea of Raza's (my co-ordinator) and I think it really has helped galvanize me into action, since I am very comfortable with doing web stuff. Perhaps also, my sister had her first chemotherapy session last week and it may have helped take my mind off worrying about her. She seems to be very positive about it, comparing it to a bad case of flu.

Anyway one more coffee. They never give you enough milk sachets do they!
