MissionMiraculus's blog

rapid promise

hope hides beneath all where it doesn't leap shining,

and that, blog categories, is all I can afford to enter today, which is for me a part of yesterday. I've been working hard on living 9-5 and not burning the midnight oil, in an attempt to get up early and begin a 'normal routine' of life so that somehow this will improve matters here at home for my girls.

Bulletin

MissionMiraculus's picture

Just a quick bulletin for now because it's nearly a month since we wrote in to share our progress and so high time to fill you in.

We've been greatly relieved by delegating some tasks among us and making a little more progress at a vital time in our  plans. So Paul got busy with sorting out dates and venues for our Road Show stops and now we have plans to visit Leamington Spa, Moseley, Redditch, possibly Coventry, Worcester and, if possible, Evesham.

Hope less or ful, or just hanging on in there....

So to HOPE, then...

As I said, Mr Miracle caused me to think about hope. It should be a matter that I've thought about properly before; Jan Wallcraft (sp?) introduced me to the 'herth hope index' when I did a course on research methods and I even followed up the reference at the time. But for some reason it's only when I'm afflicted that I take things seriously.

Keeping Up the Momentum....

disappointment, entropy, hope, struggle,

Last Friday Daniel and I saw a lot of you at the second 2010 initiatives get together in Birmingham. A lot of you saw pics of Daniel's puppies. We all enjoyed a host of gooey cakes as well as a number of impressive presentations of several initiatives work, rounded up by a number of workshops before the day ended and I went home wondering what had so affected my energy, vibrancy and engagement in life that even this event couldn't quite rouse me...

It never rains...

Catch up; Progress; strains..,

Talk about busy!!!

Over the past few weeks we have all been up to our eyes in any number of things, and few of them have been the R2R show... So, whilst we have been managing to meet up, at least a good few of us, on Mondays at our temporary and much appreciated office at CEIMH, progress was slow for a while.

However, progress there has been and it's been significant.

Congratulations One in Four!!

Well done!!!,

Hey, I now know how to log in and blog:)

I have been wanting to congratulate One in Four on their recent Conference.

The afternoon was varied and stimulating, with a great balance of speakers.

What a fantastic achievement ! I applaud the One in Four their for their vision and vigour in making this event a heartening and memorable success. WELL DONE!!

What was meant to be a weekly entry from is is turning suspiciously into something more like a monthly journal. Just noticed we had no comments on the last entry so we won't get too worried that you're hanging on our every word ;-)
